About the Opportunity
An established international hospitality group is seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee restaurant operations.
This senior leadership role will partner closely with General Managers, Executive Chefs, and corporate leadership to drive operational excellence, financial performance, exceptional guest experiences, and consistent brand standards across multiple locations.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and hands-on leader with a strong track record of leading multi-unit restaurant operations, developing high-performing management teams, and improving business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee restaurant operations across the region, ensuring consistent execution of operational and brand standards
- Lead, coach, and develop General Managers and senior restaurant leadership teams
- Drive financial performance through P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, labor optimization, and cost control
- Conduct regular site visits and operational reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve efficiency, profitability, guest satisfaction, and team performance
- Partner with Culinary, People & Culture, Finance, Talent Acquisition, Marketing, and other corporate departments to achieve business objectives
- Support leadership recruitment, succession planning, talent development, and retention
- Lead the implementation of company initiatives, operational procedures, and business strategies
- Support new openings, restaurant projects, major events, and other regional priorities as required
Candidate Requirements
- 7 years of progressive restaurant operations leadership experience within premium, upscale, or luxury hospitality
- Proven multi-unit or regional operations experience
- Demonstrated success leading and developing General Managers and senior leadership teams
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost control
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational support
- Strong business judgment and the ability to manage multiple locations and priorities
- Willingness to travel frequently across the region and work a flexible schedule as business needs require
