Working as a senior finance leader and a key business partner to the CFO and CEO, this role is ideal for someone eager to lead and elevate the team, driving them toward the next level of performance.
The Director of Accounting oversees the financial operations of the company, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic insights to support business decisions. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the accounting and treasury department: overseeing daily operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Financial reporting: Preparing and analyzing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Internal controls and auditing: Establishing and enforcing accounting policies, leading audit efforts, and ensuring the integrity of financial processes.
- Collaboration with other departments: Working closely with operations, sales, and purchasing teams
- accounting service level by defining the team organization, establishing critical measurements, determining priorities, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies, office automation, and training resources.
- Leadership and development: Leading and developing the finance team, providing coaching and delegation of duties to ensure continuity and resilience.
