Dental Treatment Plan Coordinator / Patient Care Coordinator

Our patient-centered dental practice is seeking a professional and highly organized Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our front office team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with patients, helping them understand their treatment options, and guiding them through the process of scheduling and financial coordination.
The right candidate will be confident communicating with patients about recommended care, insurance benefits, and financial arrangements while maintaining a warm and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Manage inbound phone calls and assist patients with scheduling and questions
- Coordinate and manage the doctor’s schedule to ensure efficiency and excellent patient flow
- Present and review treatment plans with patients in a clear, supportive manner
- Discuss insurance benefits, estimated coverage, and financial arrangements
- Help patients schedule recommended treatment and coordinate multi-appointment cases
- Follow up with patients regarding outstanding or unscheduled treatment
- Maintain accurate patient records and charts
- Assist with patient billing and insurance coordination
- Maintain an organized reception area and ensure HIPAA privacy compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education or training preferred
- Minimum 2 years of dental office experience preferred
- Strong communication and patient relationship skills
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a helpful attitude
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent phone and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using computers and cloud-based tools such as Gmail, Google Drive, and other Google Workspace applications
- Experience with dental practice management software is a plus
