Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Summary
We are seeking a Commercial Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the general upkeep and preventive maintenance of a portfolio of commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with building systems, demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, and provide exceptional customer service to our tenants. Daily tasks will include completing assigned work orders, addressing urgent repairs, and maintaining property conditions in a professional and timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Maintain general cleanliness and appearance of assigned properties (trash removal, spot cleaning, litter pickup, painting, window cleaning, etc.)
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, and general building maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues such as leaks, lighting, locks, heating/cooling, etc.
- Conduct regular property patrols to ensure security and maintenance standards
- Complete daily and preventive maintenance tasks using a mobile work order system
- Maintain vacant spaces in show-ready condition
- Collaborate closely with the Commercial Property Manager and share updates on property conditions
- Oversee or coordinate work done by outside vendors (e.g., janitorial, landscaping, snow removal)
- Maintain inventory of tools and supplies
- Communicate professionally with tenants, vendors, and team members
- Respond promptly to emergency and after-hours maintenance issues
- Ensure compliance with safety and company procedures

Qualifications

- Basic trade knowledge (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.)
- Technical certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical are a plus
