What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer & Operator position at Confidential?
We are in search of a CNC Router programmer and operator to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing drawings with CAD (or similar software), programming, and operating our SCM X200 Router. This candidate will also assist in packing customer orders and other warehouse functions as needed. Attention to detail, high quality work, and enthusiasm will make a candidate successful in this role!
What are the key role responsibilities?
· Plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, customer specifications, & materials
· Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communications actions
· Identify material requirements, pull from stock, load, and unload from equipment
· Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces
· Supervise machine as it runs and make adjustments as needed
· Document actions by completing production and quality logs
· Inspect finished product to ensure it meets quality standards
· Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
· Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements
· Assist in other warehouse duties as needed

· Forklift Certified
· Experience operating CNC machinery
· Understanding of CAD/CAM or other design drawing software
