The State of Florida seeks a Business Analyst to support Florida PALM remediation—analyzing Chart of Accounts impacts, mapping business/system processes, capturing requirements in Azure DevOps, and driving testing/QA to align state systems with the statewide financial solution. Onsite M–F; flexible hours 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.
âś… Must-Have Skills
- 5 years Business Process & systems analysis
- Process mapping/modeling (Visio) and strong MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
- SQL (write queries; perform data analysis)
- Workshop facilitation; documentation of business & technical requirements; test plan/case creation and coordination with Dev/QA teams
- Comfortable working onsite in Tallahassee with cross-functional stakeholders
🎓 Preferred / Nice to Have
- Azure DevOps for user stories/backlog; Agile experience
- Exposure to IBM Mainframe, distributed, and cloud environments
- Familiarity with Rule 60GG-1 to 60GG-5 (F.A.C.), data migration, change/release mgmt, testing/QA tools
- CBAP/CSM; strong SharePoint, Teams, Power BI, Project usage; PMBOK awareness
