Overview
A leading New England dealership group is seeking an experienced Finance & Insurance Manager to join the team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in automotive finance who is looking to grow within a high-performing, supportive environment.
The F&I Manager is responsible for guiding customers through financing and protection options, ensuring all transactions are accurate, compliant, and completed efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Present and explain finance and insurance product options to every customer
- Generate finance income across all deals
- Gather and verify all customer, title, and insurance information
- Assess customer financing needs and present suitable payment options
- Complete and review all required documentation, including loan and lease agreements
- Clearly explain contract terms, rates, and charges to customers
- Ensure all lender requirements and stipulations are satisfied prior to delivery
- Confirm all paperwork is properly signed and funds are collected before vehicle delivery
- Accurately record and handle funds in line with company policies
- Support and assist in developing the sales team
- Work closely with the sales desk to ensure smooth deal flow
- Build strong customer relationships and resolve any issues professionally
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with all policies and regulations
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of automotive F&I experience
- Strong track record of performance in a similar role
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills
- Clear and effective communication (written and verbal)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with a drive to succeed
- Professional, confident, and positive attitude
- Understanding of federal, state, and local compliance regulations
- Availability to work weekends
- Valid driver’s license
