Assistant High School Softball Coach
Location: Delaware County, Pennsylvania Position: Part-Time / SeasonalProgram: Competitive public high school softball program
An established high school softball program in Delaware County is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Assistant Softball Coach to join its coaching staff.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about player development, building a positive team culture, and helping student-athletes compete at a high level.
Responsibilities
- Assist with varsity and/or JV practices and games
- Help develop players’ fundamental and advanced softball skills
- Support offseason workouts and player development
- Work collaboratively with the head coach and coaching staff
- Help establish a positive, competitive, team-first environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous high school, college, or competitive travel softball coaching experience
- Strong understanding of softball fundamentals and game strategy
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to commit to the spring season and scheduled team activities
- Ability to satisfy all required school district background checks and clearances
Hiring: Final selection and appointments are subject to school district approval and applicable employment requirements.
