Assembly Coordinator: Position Summary
This position is a supervisory/leadership role reporting directly to the Plant Manager. The Assembly Coordinator must take the lead and give direction to workers who perform production operations. He/she must motivate workers to meet production standards. The Assembly Coordinator assigns and explains tasks to workers; he/she shares responsibility for final quality and quantity of work. He/she must maintain and ensure order and cleanliness of all production work areas and eliminate any potential safety hazards. The Assembly Coordinator must think proactively and is responsible for upkeep of the production area and product quality.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Assist in the management of daily production activities to ensure that schedules are met, quality parts are produced, and that production targets are met.
· Work on continuous improvement projects to reduce cost within the department.
· Sustain quality standards such as ISO and HACCP within the production department.
· Maintain a safe work environment free from any hazards. Verify that employees perform their work duties in a safe manner. Participate in accident investigations for incidents that occur in their area of responsibility.
· Works independently and efficiently and meets production expectations.
· Maintains a clean and tidy workspace.
· Abides by Company’s safety requirements.
· Works overtime as needed.
· Perform any other tasks as required.

Job Requirements
· High School diploma or GED.
· Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory role is required, preferably relating to assembly work.
Physical Demands
· The job is primarily sedentary; involves sitting more than 75% of the time. There is some walking and standing on concrete floors.
· Makes precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
· Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and whole body movement, such as lifting up to 45 lbs., balancing, stooping, and handling of materials.
· Talk; hear; see. Specific vision abilities required by this job include normal field of vision, close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and color recognition.
· Wear safety shoes, ear plugs and other personal protective equipment.

Job Type: Full-time, Non-exempt
Reports to: This position currently reports to the Plant Manager.
Work Location: In person at our manufacturing facility located in Hatfield, PA.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Pay Range: $20.00 to $30.00/hour depending upon experience
