Appliance Technical Support Assistant Manager

This role is based in our Edison, NJ office.
Candidates must have experience with customer service, over the phone and or field technical experience.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Respond to technical inquiries via the phone, email and in person.
· Provide troubleshooting/diagnostics assistance to repair technicians for Appliance products which encompasses refrigerators, washer dryer combo units, microwaves, ranges & dishwashers.
· Research technical bulletins and repair knowledge-base to ensure information provided to the repair technicians is current and accurate
· Record call information, including a synopsis of the situation and recommendations in Sugar system.
· Order parts, research part availability.
- Look continuously for methods to improve business performance.
· Provide technical assistance to parts department/service employees.
· Develop and maintain a working relationship with vendors and clients.
· Develop superb customer relations and maintain a high level of service.
· Other duties as required from time to time by the management
Skills & Qualifications
· Minimum 2 years of experience in the appliance industry, along with a proven track record of leadership and management.
· Extensive experience on a customer service team, including a strong working knowledge of technical processes, policies, and techniques.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Must be able to work on a fast paced environment with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
· Politeness, confidence, tact, patience, and diplomacy while dealing with complex problems.
· Ability to learn basic troubleshooting techniques for major appliances and some mechanical problem solving skills
· Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive.
Rate of pay: $24.00-$26.00 hour, commensurate with experience
