Duties

• Perform aesthetic injections including botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers with precision and care, ensuring optimal results while prioritizing patient safety.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including evaluating facial anatomy, skin condition, and medical history to develop customized treatment plans.
• Educate clients on available procedures, expected outcomes, post-treatment care, and potential side effects to ensure informed decision-making.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation of all procedures performed, adhering to HIPAA regulations and clinic protocols.
• Stay current with the latest aesthetic techniques, products, and industry standards through ongoing training and professional development.
• Assist with patient intake processes using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks to streamline documentation.
• Ensure sterile technique and infection control practices are followed diligently during all procedures.

Requirements

• Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license with current certification to perform aesthetic injections.
• Proven experience in administering botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers; esthetic laser treatment experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of facial anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology related to aesthetic procedures.
• Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically.
• Knowledge of medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance.
• Experience working in a medical office environment with familiarity in EMR/EHR systems such as Athenahealth or Cerner.
