As a Dental Administrative Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for patients and play a key role in creating a positive experience throughout their visit. This position is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills and a background in customer service, healthcare, or dental administration.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients with a warm, professional attitude
- Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars
- Answer multi-line phones and respond to patient inquiries
- Maintain accurate patient records in Open Dental/Flex
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Assist with other front office duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental, medical, or customer service role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask in a busy office
- Familiarity with Open Dental is a plus
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required
