Job Overview
The company currently has an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk who will managing the workflow of invoices to be paid through our AP system. This position provides support in various AP functions as directed by the Accounting Manager.
Duties
· Monitor and direct all scanned invoices for approval by purchasers for payment within our paperless accounts payable system.
· Analyze invoices and credits from vendors for accuracy and validity.
· Monitor open items received but not yet paid on a monthly basis to assist in the month end closing procedure.
· Work closely with internal personnel to resolve discrepancies in prices/quantities.
· Assist in following up on missing invoices with vendors as discovered on monthly statements on account.
· Provide support to receptionist and other accounting personnel as requested.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Accounting preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in an ERP system and paperless AP system a plus
- 5 years of AP Experience preferred
- Strong oral/written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, ability to multi-task and shift priorities as needed
- Intermediate computer skills using Excel and Word.
- Accurate data entry skills

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

- Accounts payable: 5 years (Preferred)
