Our client is seeking a Junior Accountant to support general accounting, job costing, sales tax compliance, and month‑end close activities in a manufacturing environment. This role works closely with internal departments, project managers, and auditors. Success requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple customized projects, and the willingness to work one Sunday per month during the 4/4/5 close calendar (with the following Friday off).Onsite | No Visa Sponsorship | No Relocation AssistanceWork Schedule: 8AM-5PM or 7:30AM–4:30PMCompensation: $75,000 base annual bonusRequirements: Accounting & Month-End CloseSupport month‑end and year‑end close activities.Prepare audit materials and meet required timelines.Prepare and analyze financial statements and balance sheets.Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.Job Costing & Project SupportPartner with Project Managers on progress billing and collections.Support customized, project‑based manufacturing accounting needs.Review job contracts and gather documentation for accurate job‑costing spreadsheets.AP & ComplianceMonitor cycle count program compliance.Assist with sales tax compliance and related reporting.Manage accounts payable; ensure timely and validated invoice payments.General SupportWork additional hours during deadlines as needed.Assist the Controller with various accounting tasks and special projects.Qualifications/Must-Haves:Proficiency with Excel (formulas, pivot tables)Experience with Net Link or similar manufacturing ERP.Ability to analyze balance sheets and P&L statements.Ability to work one Sunday per month during close.Strong communication and time‑management skills.Experience with job costing, cost accounting, or inventory accounting.Experience supporting customized, project‑based manufacturing environments.Minimum 3 years of manufacturing accounting experience within the last 5 years.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (equivalent experience accepted)Benefits & PerksEAPPaid HolidaysLegal ServicesMedical, Dental, VisionSTD, LTD, Voluntary LTDCompany‑paid Basic Life & AD&DSupplemental Life (Employee, Spouse, Child)Accident, Hospital Indemnity, Critical Illness
