Accounting Now is looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support financial reporting, inventory analysis, and month-end close activities. This role partners cross-functionally with operations and engineering to drive cost insights and improve profitability.
Key Highlights:
- Prepare and distribute financial analysis reports
- Support month-end close and post journal entries
- Analyze inventory costs and maintain MRP data
- Partner with teams to evaluate product cost changes
- Assist with general ledger close and inventory counts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
- Manufacturing accounting experience a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams on cost analysis
- Proficient in Excel; familiarity with Access is a plus
