We also service normal Janitorial accounts such as office parks, etc.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead our marketing efforts and strategic growth initiatives. Reporting directly to the CEO/President, the VP will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day service delivery across the State of Alabama, ensuring high standards of service, compliance, and customer satisfaction. This executive will drive performance, manage budgets, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. We are looking to hire a future owner of Parker Building Maintenance starting with a % of ownership & profit sharing beginning the 2nd year of employment with % increasing to 50% in 5 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the President to set organizational vision and operational strategy, translating plans into actionable goals.
  • Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of industrial cleaning operations, including service delivery, project management, and administration, ensuring efficiency and quality.
  • Financial Acumen: Manage budgets, forecast performance, monitor costs, and implement strategies to improve profitability and meet financial objectives.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure strict compliance with all industry standards, safety regulations, and OSHA guidelines, fostering a strong health and safety culture.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing management team; identify, train, and develop future leaders within the company.
  • Client & Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and vendors, ensuring contract compliance and high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Process Improvement: Identify, recommend, and implement new processes, technologies, and systems to streamline operations and enhance resource utilization.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with at least 5 years in a Sales role, senior leadership or management role, preferably within the industrial cleaning, janitorial, or facilities management industry.
  • Education: An Associates degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is required. A BS degree is preferred.
  • Leadership: Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills:
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong financial and business acumen to interpret data and manage P&L effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Familiarity with cleaning industry standards, safety regulations, and relevant enterprise management software.
  • Requirements: A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to travel to various client sites and industry events as needed.
