The Sales Manager – Automotive TIC Services is responsible for driving revenue growth and developing customer relationships within the automotive and mobility sectors. This role focuses on selling testing, inspection, certification, and engineering services to automotive OEMs, Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers, EV manufacturers, and emerging mobility technology companies.
The Sales Manager will identify new business opportunities, manage strategic accounts, and collaborate with laboratory and technical teams to deliver solutions supporting quality, compliance, safety, and product performance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within automotive and mobility markets
- Manage and grow relationships with OEMs, suppliers, engineering teams, and procurement leaders
- Lead the sales process from prospecting through proposal development, negotiation, and contract award
- Promote automotive TIC services including:
- Regulatory compliance and certification
- Cybersecurity and connected technologies testing
- Coordinate with technical and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and executed successfully
- Maintain sales pipeline activity, forecasting, and CRM reporting
- Support strategic account planning and customer retention efforts
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and automotive regulatory developments
- Participate in customer visits, trade shows, conferences, and industry networking events
- Prepare pricing proposals, quotations, and service agreements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 3–7 years of sales or business development experience within automotive testing, engineering services, or TIC industries
- Knowledge of automotive manufacturing, testing, and compliance requirements
- Experience working with automotive OEMs and supplier networks preferred
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and opportunities simultaneously
- Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Willingness to travel as required
