We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Distribution Supervisor to support HR operations within a fast-paced distribution environment. This is a hands-on HR role covering employee relations, recruiting, payroll, benefits, attendance, compliance, onboarding, and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, partnering closely with distribution leadership, and serving as a day-to-day HR resource for employees and managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage timekeeping and support accurate weekly payroll processing
- Track attendance and employee performance concerns
- Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS/payroll system
- Support benefits administration and employee leave processes
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, orientation, background checks, and screenings
- Assist managers with employee relations, disciplinary documentation, policies, and procedures
- Support performance review and merit review processes
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and OSHA requirements
- Prepare HR reports including headcount, benefits, new hires, organizational charts, and other workforce data
- Coordinate employee meetings, training, events, and engagement activities
- Provide day-to-day direction, training, and workload coordination for HR support staff
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, related field, or HR certification
- Minimum 5 years of HR administrative/generalist experience
- 2–3 years of leadership or supervisory experience within distribution or manufacturing
- Broad working knowledge across multiple HR functions
- HRIS and payroll system experience required; Paycom experience preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Ability to run reports, analyze data, and work with spreadsheets
- Strong employee relations, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while supporting leadership at another location
Required
Bilingual Spanish/English is required. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with employees and management in both languages.
