Bradley Professional is currently seeking a Bilingual Human Resource Supervisor for their client located in Flower Mound, Texas.

This is an Onsite role and offers a schedule of Mon-Thu 7:30-4:30 and Fridays 7am-11am.


POSITION SUMMARY: Provides Human Resource support, including recruiting, payroll, benefits administration, employee events, and employee relations. Serves as a liaison between the three locations (Corporate & Distribution).


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The incumbent may be required to perform all or a combination of the following essential functions as determined by business necessity:


  • Ensures time entry, and payroll are completed accurately and timely on a daily/weekly basis, including the creation and retention of documentation. Responds to any questions or issues during payroll processing cycle to ensure successful completion weekly.
  • Tracks employee performance and attendance on a weekly basis, bringing any concerns to the attention of management.
  • Creates and maintains updated and accurate employee records and records within the HRIS/Payroll system.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the company’s benefit program for Dallas TX including -- processing invoices for all group health and welfare plans.
  • Administer employee leaves of absence and counsel employees regarding their individual leave options.
  • Stays informed of Federal, State and Local regulations impacting Dallas employees and brings significant updates or concerns to the Sr. Human Resources Manager to support compliance within the State of Texas.
  • Ensures that the OSHA reporting functions are up-to-date and in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Perform full-cycle recruitment, onboarding and orientation process for non-exempt and temporary employees, including performing background and screening checks.
  • Coordinates with the Management Team to support timely completion of annual performance reviews. Provides information and recommendations to the Sr. Human Resources Manager during the annual merit review process.
  • Supports the maintenance and consistent application of company policies, procedures, and the employee handbook in line with Management approval. Performs regular audits and recommends improvements or changes to the Sr. Human Resources Manager.
  • Supports employees and managers in resolving routine employee relations matters and interpreting Company policies and procedures. Escalates complex, sensitive, or higher-risk matters to the Sr. Human Resources Manager.
  • Facilitates communication between management and employees, fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Coordinates timely communication and documentation of disciplinary matters, supports managers through established processes, and escalates significant concerns to the Sr. Human Resources Manager.
  • Supports safety initiatives, reporting and recording while encouraging and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Prepares various weekly, monthly and/or year-end reports including census data, head count reports, organizational charts, benefits costs, benefit enrollment, new hires, etc. as requested by management.
  • Provides administrative and operational HR support regarding budgets, meeting schedules, recruiting/staffing, events, employee relations matters, project work, correspondence, and communications to support smooth operation of the Dallas facility.
  • Coordinates logistics for onsite events such as employee meetings, activities, trainings, outings, and other community and cultural events.
  • Supports a positive organizational culture and alignment with the company's core values, mission and purpose. Provides day-to-day direction, training, workload coordination, and performance feedback for assigned HR support staff in partnership with the Sr. Human Resources Manager.

LEVEL OF SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

Under general supervision, independently handles routine HR duties within established policies and procedures. Exercises sound judgment, monitors work for quality, and escalate exceptions, sensitive matters, and significant risks as appropriate.


EDUCATION, TRAINING and/or EXPERIENCE:


Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related Field, or a Human Resource Certification. A minimum of five years total HR Administrative experience is required, with 2-3 years in a supervisory or leadership position within a Distribution or Manufacturing environment. A broad background in all areas of HR is preferred.Must be able to demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail as a high priority. Must maintain the strictest confidentiality on a daily basis. Must be able to multi-task while meeting deadlines. Must be a self-starter who can maintain productivity while reporting to a Sr. Human Resources Manager who works in another location.


TECHNICAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, and/or LICENSES:

Strong PC skills and a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Access, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint are required. Previous experience with HRIS and payroll systems is required, i.e. Paycom preferred. Must be able to run reports, extract data to Excel, and manipulate formulas and spreadsheets to provide pertinent accurate data on demand.


REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to function in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and exercise sound judgment within established policies and procedures. Recognizes when matters require escalation or additional guidance. Strong analytical skills are required.


Able to identify and solve problems in a proactive, timely manner and analyzes information skillfully. Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Must be accurate and thorough.Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where set policies and standardization exist.


LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Bilingual is Required, Spanish/English. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations. Able to write business correspondence and reports. Able to conduct meetings, effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, vendors, and public.


ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS and/or PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Use of a computer monitor, keyboard and mouse are required. This position does require some manual lifting and set up for employee events. Must be able to push, pull, and lift cartons up to 20 lbs. or 50 lbs. with a dolly. Facility is not climate controlled. May be required to travel infrequently to other company locations or events.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY (If Applicable):

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does work directly and autonomously with other leaders, contributing to decision making discussions.
