A confidential manufacturing company is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team. As an HR Professional, you will be critical in supporting the company's human resources functions. This role requires a solid foundation in HR principles, knowledge of employment laws, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to employees and leaders. Address inquiries related to HR policies and procedures. Create positive experiences for employees and develop close partnerships with managers and employees.
- Assist managers with full cycle recruiting.
- Maintain knowledge of state and federal employment laws to ensure the company meets legal requirements and government reporting regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and high ethical standards and handle sensitive employee information.
- Participate in employee onboarding, training, succession planning, and development initiatives.
- Conduct exit interviews, investigate and document workplace and employee relations issues, and coach managers and employees through issue resolution.
- Maintain the HRIS system and run reports to understand trends and best practices in HR.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required. HR certification is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in HR administration, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office, and other HR-related software.
