A growing industrial manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Facility Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at its Longview Texas area facility. This leadership role is responsible for driving equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and leading maintenance initiatives that support safe and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Asset Reliability & Equipment Uptime
- Ensure equipment and facility systems operate efficiently with minimal downtime
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Drive reliability initiatives to improve equipment performance and operational efficiency
Maintenance Planning & Scheduling
- Plan and coordinate daily, weekly, and shutdown maintenance activities
- Prioritize maintenance work orders based on safety, operational impact, and urgency
- Partner with operations leadership to align maintenance schedules with production goals
Troubleshooting & Repairs
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) efforts for equipment failures and recurring issues
- Oversee timely resolution of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation problems
- Support troubleshooting of motors, drives, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Supervise and develop maintenance technicians and support personnel
- Manage maintenance budgets, vendor relationships, and contractor activities
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, safety, and operational performance
- Track and improve key maintenance KPIs including downtime, MTBF, MTTR, and OEE
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance environments
- 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience within maintenance operations
- Strong technical background in:
- Preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Electrical systems, motors, drives, and PLCs
- Mechanical systems including hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors
- CMMS platforms and maintenance planning systems
- Experience within manufacturing, plastics, packaging, processing, or heavy industrial environments preferred
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Root Cause Analysis methodologies preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days or nights as needed to support plant operations
Work Environment:
- Combination of office and manufacturing plant environment
- Regular walking and activity throughout the production facility
- Ability to kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, balance, and work around industrial equipment as needed
- Frequent use of computer systems, radios, and communication tools
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $90,000 – $100,000 annually
