ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Regional Director of Operations oversees the performance and operations of multiple outpatient care centers across South Florida. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, enhancing patient experience, advancing value-based care initiatives, and ensuring strong financial performance. The position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Regional Operations Leadership
- Oversee operations across multiple care centers, ensuring consistent execution of clinical operations, patient access, and service standards
- Optimize workflows, staffing models, and capacity to improve efficiency and patient flow
Financial & P&L Accountability
- Own regional financial performance, including revenue growth, cost management, and margin improvement
- Partner with finance and revenue cycle teams to ensure accurate coding, documentation, and reimbursement
Value-Based Care Execution
- Lead operational strategies supporting value-based and risk-based care models
- Collaborate with clinical leadership to improve quality outcomes, close care gaps, and advance population health initiatives
Patient Experience & Access
- Ensure a high-quality, patient-centered experience with timely access and coordinated care across all sites
- Identify and address barriers to care and reduce fragmentation
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and develop Practice Administrators and site leaders, driving accountability and performance
- Build leadership pipeline through coaching and succession planning
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal standards, including quality and accreditation guidelines
- Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement
Strategy & Growth
- Support regional expansion initiatives, including new site openings and practice integrations
- Partner with senior leadership on strategic planning and market growth
Performance Management
- Use data and analytics to monitor performance and drive decision-making
- Lead performance reviews and implement action plans to address gaps
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- This role includes direct supervisory responsibility over regional operational leaders and site administrators
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 8 years of healthcare operations experience, including multi-site leadership
- Strong knowledge of risk-based reimbursement and value-based care models
- Demonstrated P&L management experience and operational performance improvement
- Proficiency with EMR systems and healthcare technologies
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Experience in the South Florida healthcare market preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
