Overview
LUSH Pharmacy is a growing specialty pharmacy with locations in Florida, Connecticut, and New Jersey. We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations to oversee day‑to‑day operational performance across all current and future pharmacy sites. This role is based in Miami, with remote oversight of other locations and travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations across all LUSH Pharmacy locations
- Implement, monitor, and optimize operational workflows and processes
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Business & Administrative Management
- Manage HR functions, including hiring, onboarding, staffing, and performance oversight
- Oversee billing operations and collaborate with reimbursement and payor teams
- Direct inventory management, procurement, and vendor relationships
- Manage facility needs, including maintenance, logistics, and expansion
Sales, Marketing & Account Management
- Lead and support the sales representative team
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive growth
- Manage key customer, provider, and partner accounts
Growth & Expansion
- Support due diligence, planning, and operations setup for new locations
- Implement performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmacy business (RPh license not required)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong background in operations, business management, or healthcare administration
- Ability to commute to the Miami office and travel to out‑of‑state locations as needed
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
