The Continuous Improvement Leader is responsible for driving operational excellence within the manufacturing environment by implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies. This role focuses on identifying inefficiencies, reducing waste, improving productivity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all levels of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement Lean and Six Sigma strategies, tools, and training programs for employees.
- Analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that optimize workflow and reduce waste.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of improvement projects with business objectives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and sustain improvements.
- Drive standardization of processes and best practices across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Support change management efforts to embed a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members on Lean principles and problem-solving techniques.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or related field (master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in process mapping, root cause analysis, and project management.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of ERP (SAP) and data analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar platforms for generating insights from training metrics).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
