POSITION SUMMARY
The Chief of Staff will make an impact by streamlining strategic initiatives and communicating objectives among cross-functional teams. The individual is responsible for supporting the CEO in executing strategic projects, managing their day-to-day operations, and pushing priorities forward to make progress on key initiatives. A successful individual in this role will possess a high level of business acumen in order to effectively manage the CEO’s priorities and understand how to give insight and recommendations while ensuring alignment to business goals.
SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Acting as a key advisor to the CEO, ensuring he is informed with timely and data-backed context. This helps executives move faster and more confidently.
- Serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing candid feedback, and challenging ideas when needed to drive the company forward.
- Facilitating transparent communication between leadership and the organization is crucial, ensuring that everyone is on the same page regarding priorities and strategies.
OBJECTIVES
- Serve as a connection between executives, senior leaders, and the CEO regarding project updates/follow up, proposals, and strategic planning
- Act as a primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
- Escalate roadblocks and provide insightful solutions before key initiatives are stalled
- Conduct in-depth research and data analysis to support decision-making processes and strategy formulation
- Reporting on high priority decisions to be made and high level updates
- Provide support in preparing for client meetings, including agenda setting, note-taking, and follow-up on action items, while handling all information with confidentiality and discretion
- Review and organize emails to ensure prompt follow up with important stakeholders and bring clarity to the CEO on what actually needs a response/review.
- Review upcoming meetings for the week to ensure the CEO has all of the information needed to be productive
- Proof read through draft or final documents being sent to the CEO for approval or signature. Ensure any errors you know exist are corrected with the team before being presented to the CEO, and once in front of him, provide feedback to him on anything that stood out
- Audit CEO reporting team members’ weekly reports/updates for trends, accuracy, and outstanding items that haven’t been addressed or aren’t moving forward

- Ability to present to large groups, confidence to speak on behalf of CEO in meetings
- Prior experiences handling highly confidential/sensitive information in a professional and discreet manner
- Solid analytical skills; has hands-on experience; ability to quickly aggregate and analyze information and draw conclusions
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- At least 8–10 years of experience in a strategic/operational role
- MBA preferred but not required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Travel required –up to 25%

Salary : $150,000 - $180,000
