Key Responsibilities
Commercial Finance Leadership
- Serve as the primary finance partner to senior commercial and sales leadership, supporting revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion initiatives.
- Lead forecasting, long-range planning, and strategic financial analysis tied to commercial performance and market share growth.
- Translate complex operational and financial data into executive-level insights and recommendations.
Revenue, Pricing & Reimbursement Strategy
- Partner cross-functionally on pricing strategy, reimbursement modeling, and commercial contracting initiatives.
- Analyze revenue mix, patient access trends, reimbursement dynamics, and commercial performance metrics.
- Support strategic initiatives tied to pharmacy, direct-to-consumer, and healthcare payor channels.
Integrated Business Planning & Analytics
- Lead financial support for integrated business planning processes, including demand planning and commercial forecasting.
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and advanced financial models to support operational decision-making.
- Drive scenario analysis and risk/opportunity assessment across multiple commercial channels.
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and mentor a growing commercial finance organization (team of ~8–10).
- Develop team capabilities in financial modeling, strategic analysis, and executive communication.
- Foster a high-accountability, detail-oriented culture with strong partnership across commercial operations.
Process Improvement & Strategic Initiatives
- Drive process optimization, automation, and reporting enhancements across the commercial finance function.
- Support special projects related to market expansion, new channels, and strategic growth initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required
- 12 years of progressive finance experience within healthcare, life sciences, medtech, pharma, or similarly complex regulated industries.
- Strong commercial finance and/or FP&A background with advanced financial modeling expertise.
- Deep understanding of reimbursement, payors, and healthcare revenue flows (commercial insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, etc.).
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing finance teams in large, matrixed organizations.
- Strong executive presence and ability to communicate effectively with senior commercial leaders.
Preferred
- Experience supporting pharmacy, PBM, patient access, or direct-to-consumer healthcare channels.
- Background in medical device, diabetes care, pharma, or broader healthcare services.
- Familiarity with integrated business planning and advanced analytics tools.
- MBA and/or CPA preferred.
