A growing manufacturing business is seeking a Vice President FP&A to support the next phase of operational and financial transformation. The organization is focused on scaling processes, enhancing reporting capabilities, and building a more data-driven finance function to support continued growth initiatives across a multi-location environment.
Purpose Of Your Position:
The Vice President of Finance will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership while overseeing financial planning, operational analytics, and enterprise reporting initiatives. This individual will help modernize finance processes, improve visibility into business performance, and drive more sophisticated forecasting and decision-support capabilities across the organization. The role will balance hands-on analytical leadership with broader process improvement and team development responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes across multiple business functions.
• Develop financial models, reporting packages, and KPI dashboards to support operational and executive decision-making.
• Partner closely with operations and leadership teams to analyze profitability, cost trends, labor efficiency, and business performance drivers.
• Drive enhancements to forecasting accuracy, reporting automation, and finance processes through technology and data-driven tools.
• Support implementation and optimization of ERP, reporting, and analytics platforms to improve visibility and scalability.
• Deliver monthly and quarterly variance analysis with actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Assist with working capital planning, cash flow visibility, and broader operational finance initiatives.
• Build and mentor a high-performing finance team while creating scalable reporting and planning processes.
• Support executive leadership with board-level materials, ad hoc analysis, and strategic initiatives.
• Help strengthen internal reporting disciplines, financial controls, and cross-functional accountability throughout the organization.
Requirements:
• Prior experience within a manufacturing, distribution, or other operationally intensive environment.
• Progressive FP&A and finance leadership experience with strong analytical and business partnership capabilities.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling experience.
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, and operational analytics.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with operations and executive leadership teams.
• Experience improving reporting processes, systems, and finance infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting fundamentals.
• Leadership experience managing and developing teams.
• ERP and reporting system experience within complex operating environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• CPA, MBA, ERP implementation exposure, or investment-backed company experience considered a plus.
Salary : $180,000 - $225,000
