Company Description:
Our publicly traded Manufacturing client, that recently went through a successful IPO, is searching for a Manager of Financial Reporting to partner with the Director of Financial Reporting. This individual will assist with the filings of forms 10-Q and 10-K and oversee all technical accounting areas. Their ideal candidate must have a Public Accounting upbringing, ideally with experience of auditing public clients.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the preparation and filing of quarterly and annual Forms 10-Q and 10-K, including financial statements, Notes, and MD&A.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation supporting all disclosures and tie-outs.
- Monitor new accounting standards and SEC guidance; assist in implementing disclosure changes.
- Coordinate input from Legal, FP&A, Investor Relations, and other cross-functional teams.
- Prepare technical accounting memos as needed.
- Oversee accounting areas such as equity, stock-based compensation and other key accounting areas as needed.
- Prepare the consolidated statement of cash flows for each reporting period.
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities as needed, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and support SOX documentation and audits.
- Assist with operational accounting process improvements and system enhancements.
- Support external audit requests during quarterly reviews and the annual audit.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related degree
- Public Accounting experience is required (Big 4 or Mid-Tier Firms).
- Technical accounting memo writing ability is required.
- CPA license is highly desired.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams, business leaders, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results
