A well-established manufacturing company in Santa Ana is looking for an Accounting Manager to lead their accounting function and help drive financial accuracy and process improvement during a period of growth.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Manage cost accounting functions including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation • Supervise and mentor a small accounting team (AP, AR, GL)
- Prepare and review financial statements, account reconciliations, and journal entries
- Partner with Operations and FP&A to analyze production costs and margins
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Support annual audits and assist with budgeting/forecasting
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA a plus, not required)
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory processes
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Epicor, or similar)
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
