We are seeking a full-time Dispatcher to join our team on-site at our Raleigh, NC location. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating the schedule and delivery of Ready-Mix concrete orders, efficiently managing the fleet to meet customer demands, and optimizing delivery routes for on-time performance. Key responsibilities include communicating with customers, drivers, and plant personnel, monitoring delivery status, solving logistical issues, and providing excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction. This role requires close attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to operational excellence.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients and staff.
- Experience in logistics, scheduling, and route optimization, with attention to detail and organizational efficiency.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment and adapt to unforeseen challenges.
- Familiarity with dispatch software and tools is preferred; general computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
- Problem-solving and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Knowledge of the concrete or construction industry is a strong advantage but not mandatory.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional specialized training or certifications in logistics or transportation management are a plus.
