About the Position:
The Human Resources Office Assistant serves as the ambassador of first impressions for the HR Department, managing the front desk and providing essential administrative and workflow support. This position ensures a welcoming, professional, and organized environment for employees, job candidates, retirees, and campus visitors. The Assistant supports HR processes including records management, onboarding, leaves, recruiting, invoicing, communication, event coordination, and a wide variety of office operations that keep the HR office running smoothly.
This role requires exceptional customer service, attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work independently in a busy environment.

- You can organize large volumes of documents, track what’s complete, and keep filing systems accurate.
- You’re comfortable learning new tools (Excel, Teams, SharePoint, HR systems) and navigating them daily.
- You can manage multiple requests at once while keeping the front desk running smoothly.
- You communicate clearly in writing, including emails, form updates, and event logistics.
- You follow through until tasks are completed — you don’t stop at “I sent the email,” you get the result.
- You can safeguard sensitive information and understand what confidentiality looks like in practice.
- You’re comfortable solving small office problems, like equipment troubleshooting or submitting work orders.
- You enjoy creating a welcoming space — keeping the office organized, stocked, and ready for visitors.
