This is a full-time on-site role located in Fargo, ND, for a Community and Connection Coordinator. The role involves planning and organizing community outreach initiatives, fostering partnerships with diverse stakeholders, and promoting an inclusive environment. Responsibilities include creating and managing events to cultivate strong connections within the college and external communities, developing communication strategies, and collaborating with colleagues across departments. The Coordinator will also analyze engagement efforts and implement innovative approaches to enhance community relationships.
- Experience in community engagement, outreach, and relationship building
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including effective public speaking and social media content creation
- Event planning, project management, and organizational skills
- Cultural competency and an ability to work collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Data analysis and strategy development for improving outreach efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Sociology, or a related field
- Proficiency with digital tools for communication and project management is preferred
