Dietary Aide / Kitchen Staff

FullTime & PartTime

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Dietary Aides / Kitchen Staff to support daily food service operations in our nursing home. This role plays a vital part in providing nutritious, safe, and residentfocused meals in a healthcare setting.

Ideal candidates are teamoriented, dependable, and able to work efficiently while following dietary, sanitation, and safety guidelines required in longterm care.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist with meal service according to dietary guidelines and standardized menus
• Support cooking and food preparation under the direction of the Dietary Manager or Cook
• Serve meals to residents following portion and dietary restrictions
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen and dining environment
• Follow infection control, food safety, and sanitation protocols
• Assist with dishwashing, cleaning schedules, and inventory tasks
• Work collaboratively with dietary staff, nursing, and facility leadership
• Complete other duties as assigned
  
  

Job Qualifications

• Previous experience in dietary, kitchen, or food service preferred (healthcare or nursing home experience a plus)
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Ability to work in a fastpaced caregiving environment
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Reliable attendance and dependability
• Ability to follow dietary restrictions and residentspecific needs
• Fluency in English required; additional languages a plus
