Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for guests, providing warm welcomes and attentive service from arrival to departure
- Manage a team of 10-15 staff
- Create and maintain a schedule for staff
- Cover shifts if needed
- Manage guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person with professionalism and clarity, ensuring prompt resolutions
- Coordinate concierge services such as reservations, transportation arrangements, activity bookings, and special requests
- Supervise and mentor front desk staff to uphold high standards of customer service and operational efficiency
- Maintain detailed knowledge of local attractions, amenities, and services to offer expert recommendations tailored to guest preferences
- Oversee guest relations issues promptly and diplomatically, ensuring positive resolutions that enhance overall experience
- Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to hotel or resort standards, including phone etiquette and guest interaction protocols
Experience
- Proven experience in hotel or resort concierge roles with a strong background in hospitality or customer service
- Previous front desk or guest services experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting is ideal
- Demonstrated skills in time management, organization, and multitasking in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly yet professional demeanor; comfortable handling phone and face-to-face interactions
- Knowledge of local attractions, restaurants, transportation options, and event venues is advantageous
- Experience working with diverse teams and managing guest relations with empathy and professionalism
