Vendor Management and IT Purchasing Analyst - Job Description
·Procurement Management: Purchase IT equipment, software, and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition.
·Contract Management: Oversee the lifecycle of IT contracts, including renewals, amendments, and terminations.
·Vendor Relations: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure the best deals
·Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of IT contract entitlements.
·Handle internal contract-related complaints or disagreements from the business or other internal stakeholders
·Administer commercial and financial arrangements with vendors to include invoice review of billing, performance credits and earn backs and internal chargebacks, where appropriate
·Facilitate and maintain relationships between the vendors and internal resources, including IT stakeholders and executive leadership
·Ensure reviews (contract, business, risk, etc.) are occurring in accordance with the agenda, participants and cadence defined
Minimum Requirements:
Education - Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience:
·Minimum 3 years of experience managing contract life cycles. Experience managing large complex vendors or projects in one or more IT categories, including hardware, software, managed services and telecom.

·Strong negotiating, analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong interpersonal communication skills to be applied in a working environment with vendors across the entire contract cycle.

• Use analytical approach to problem solving, with a focus on managing tasks with appropriate urgency in a results-oriented environment
• Ability to work across a complex organization to create needed alignment and harness relationships to collaborate with business units to influence decisions and drive strategy
