Job Description
Device Support & Troubleshooting Active device issues are creating a resource bottleneck — loaner machines are tied up covering unresolved problems, and new hires are waiting on hardware.
- Hands-on laptop troubleshooting and issue resolution for end users
- Loaner/replacement device triage and refresh to free up inventory
- New employee device setup, imaging, and provisioning
- Ongoing day-to-day user device support and helpdesk response
- Tools: Intune, Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Windows
Workplace & Infrastructure Buildout
- Workstation setup and configuration across ~20 stations
- Cable management and organization
- Tablet provisioning and deployment
- Network troubleshooting and additional configuration as needed
- NAS discovery, usage assessment, and cutover planning
- Digital signage setup and content configuration
- Tools: Intune, Yodeck, UniFi
Endpoint & Application Management
- Intune package creation for app deployments and updates (Archicad, Bluebeam, others)
- Hands-on application installs and updates directly on user machines
- Intune compliance policy configuration and validation
- Device lifecycle automation (cleanup rules, inactive device management)
- Tools: Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, Microsoft Defender
Microsoft 365 Administration
- Conditional access baseline policy configuration and pilot validation
- MFA enforcement rollout and legacy authentication block
- Mobile App Protection Policy setup (iOS/Android)
- Audit logging setup and validation (Microsoft Purview)
- Retention policy configuration for Exchange and Teams
- DLP policy tuning, finalization, and production rollout
- License migration from direct assignment to group-based
- Tenant hardening (self-service purchase restrictions, app registration controls)
- Exchange shared mailbox rules and external sharing configuration
- Tools: Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Exchange Admin
Asset Management
- Physical asset labeling — label design, printing, and tagging
- Asset tracking database setup and inventory population
- Obsolete equipment processing — inventory, resale coordination
- Donation sourcing and tax documentation for disposed equipment
Security & Compliance Support
- Incident response playbook documentation (phishing, ransomware, malware)
- Escalation matrix and contact documentation
- Sign-in and device branding customization
- Microsoft Secure Score review and trend tracking
- Tools: Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, Entra ID
Documentation & Process Support
- SOP writing and documentation under established frameworks
- Onboarding/offboarding device process mapping and gap analysis
- SharePoint content population and organization
- Manager training content creation for onboarding processes
Integration & Data Support
- HR data sync configuration and testing (Culture Amp ? Entra)
- Lead automation setup and testing (Pipedrive ? Monday.com)
