Front End Developer

Notes:
- Will support lead developer in building internal browser-based tools for infotainment systems.
- Focused on front-end development involving text and image recognition using React and TypeScript.
- Two virtual rounds via MS Teams, each 30 minutes.
- Strong experience and proficiency in HTML, CSS, JSON, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
- Candidates will need to undergo code-based assessments and share the results with the submission.
- Bachelor’s degree would be nice to have.

What we’re looking for:
- The Front-End Developer will primarily be responsible for collaborating and providing technical support.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with the lead developer to write and modify browser-based applications.
- Provide technical support to users of automation tools.
- Ensure quality assurance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the development of automation solutions for automotive multimedia head units.
Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves):
- 3-5 years’ experience in front-end development.
- Hands on React experience.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and resolve issues promptly.
- Proactive approach to improving tools and workspace efficiency.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Web Technologies: Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS5, TypeScript, JSON, REST, Nodejs and React is required to effectively contribute to our web development projects.
Added bonus if you have (Preferred):
- Experience in cloud-based web development.
- Familiarity with automated testing for automotive multimedia systems.
- Testing Frameworks: Vitest or similar.
- Build Tools: Turborepo, Redux or similar.
- UX experience.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $67.00 per hour
