Title: Cost Controller / IT Project Controller
Location: Newark NJ, Hybrid – 3 days a week onsite
Full time Permanent role
Responsibilities: We are looking for Cost Controllers with strong financial systems (such as SAP) experience, and IT projects experience
• Work with the project team to develop and track project estimates, actuals, accruals, planned cash flow and overall forecast throughout the life of the project
• Produce cost reports reflecting actuals, accruals, ETC, EAC, variances
• Analyze and report on project contingency and risk amounts
• Support monthly financial projections by analyzing consultant, employee and subcontract labour
Requirements:
• 5 years of experience working as a Project Controller in an enterprise environment
• Must have 3 years of experience working as a Project Controller for IT projects
• Strong understanding of project financials (budget, actuals, accruals, ETC and EAC)
• Experience in Business Planning and Budgeting required
• Experience with SAP Financial Systems (FICO, Project Systems, Materials Management, Work Management, DWMS) is preferred
