Senior Systems Administrator (On-Site)

Currently, we are seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to join our Team! This position will work with COMSO’s Managed Security Service Provider.

This is a full time on-site position based out of Columbia, MD.
 

Must Have:

• Design, deploy, and manage Azure and hybrid cloud environments
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Azure services
• Manage and support on-premises servers, virtualization, and storage systems
• Configure and troubleshoot advanced networking (firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, routing)
• Lead complex infrastructure projects and migrations
• Support and optimize client environments using Kaseya RMM / PSA tools
• Implement security best practices across endpoints, networks, and cloud platforms
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis
• Develop and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures
• Mentor junior engineers and provide escalation support
• 5 years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering

 Strong understanding of:

• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022
• Active Directory
• Group Policy
• DNS/DHCP
• File and print services
• Remote Desktop Services
• Backup and disaster recovery

 Networking:

• TCP/IP
• VLANs
• VPN configuration
• DNS
• DHCP
• Wireless networking
• Firewall troubleshooting (preferred experience with Fortinet) 

 Strong security awareness and operational experience with:

• Endpoint protection
• EDR/MDR platforms
• Email security
• Phishing remediation
• Security best practices
• User access controls
• Vulnerability remediation

Preferred experience with (Kaseya Tool Stack):

• Datto RMM
• Datto EDR
• Autotask
• ThreatLocker
• DNSFilter/Zorus
• RocketCyber
• SaaS Alerts
• Graphus/INK

Education and Experience:

• 5 years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure engineering
