Logistics Representative

CTG is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Representative to support daily transportation planning, shipment execution, and inventory coordination. This role is ideal for candidates with logistics or plant operations experience who thrive in fast-paced environments and are comfortable working with SAP and multiple data systems.

Location: South Charleston, WV
Duration: 12 months
Pay Rate: $26.00/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily logistics operations including transportation scheduling and inventory management
• Process truck and rail shipments, including documentation and Post Goods Issue (PGI) in SAP
• Collaborate with plant personnel, carriers, and rail providers to ensure timely and accurate shipments
• Monitor and update shipment data across systems (SAP, Scale Soft, Lab Manager, SHIPCSX)
• Ensure compliance with shipping requirements across distribution and laboratory functions
• Recommend logistics adjustments to meet customer needs
• Provide backup support for transportation coordination as needed

Required Skills:

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP
• 5 years of logistics, transportation, or plant-related experience
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

Education Requirement:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
