Job Qualification:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, standard operating procedures (SOPs), material safety data sheets (MSDSs), operating and maintenance instructions, government rules and technical procedures.
• Attention to detail
• Good computer skills: Microsoft Office and SAP preferred
• A willingness to work with and handle blood, urine, fecal and biopsies.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
• On feet and moving all day
• Ability to lift up to 25-30 lbs.

Job Responsibilities:

• The Laboratory Associate supports high-volume diagnostic laboratory operations during overnight shifts.
• This role requires working efficiently in a fast-paced, production-based environment while handling animal diagnostic samples.
• The ideal candidate understands overnight work demands and can adapt quickly while maintaining accuracy, safety, and quality standards.
• Support high-volume laboratory workflows during overnight operations
• Process and move samples efficiently throughout the lab to meet turnaround times
• Handle biological samples including blood, urine, fecal, and biopsies
• Assist with sample preparation, loading analyzers, centrifugation, and basic chemical handling
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with lab procedures
• Support overall production targets while ensuring accuracy and safety
