Job Title: Radiographer II

Location: King of Prussia, PA 19406

Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension of project)

Schedule: 8x5 or 4x10. Shift: Primarily Day Shift, with the possibility of rotating between Day and Evening shifts as needed. No overnight shifts are required.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Radiology Manager and Diagnostic Team Leader, performs a variety of diagnostic Procedures with technical expertise.

Understand the daily operations of all radiographic equipment and departmental flow to obtain optimal imaging and patient care for diagnosis and measure of disease.

Performs and assists in various general diagnostic procedures that produce optimal imaging with diagnostic quality according to the department’s policy and procedures daily.

Follows standards for routine diagnostic exams, positioning, patient care and documentation as prescribed in the procedure manual set forth by the imaging department

Provide optimal diagnostic imaging and radiation safety for the purpose of diagnostic interpretation.

Required Certifications & Licensure: Radiology Technologist (RT) from the American Registry for Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). -Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) issued through an organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex. American Heart Association or Red Cross). -Obtains 12 CE credits/year for ARRT Compliance, and 6 CE Credits of which are offered through Radiology Initiatives.
