Quality Inspector

Job Summary The Quality Inspector ensures that products meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This role involves inspecting, testing, and sampling materials, parts, and finished goods to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards. Working under limited supervision, the inspector follows standard procedures and practices to complete tasks while supporting continuous improvement initia tives. Key Responsibilities C onduct routine inspections of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods Use precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify product quality Document inspection results through reports, logs, and quality databases Identify and report defects and collaborate with production teams to resolve issues Perform audits of processes and procedures to ensure compliance Assist in developing quality procedures and control processes Maintain a safe work environment by following safety regulations Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors and production staff Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of relevant experience, or Associate’s degree with 2 years of related experience 4 years of experience working in regulated Quality Management Systems such as ISO9001:2015 or AS9100 Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements Familiarity with metrology methods and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) Self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong relationship-building skills across organizational levels Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) Education: High School
