JOB SUMMARY:The Mechanical Operator is responsible for assisting in the assembly, documentation, and improvement of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems used in device manufacturing. This role works closely with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to support build processes, prototype development, and shipment preparation while maintaining an organized and efficient workspace.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Work from wiring, electrical, and mechanical diagrams, equipment drawings, and work instructions to organize, construct, and build mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems used on the Inovoject® and other devices during the assembly process.Assist with the preparation and update of detailed records to document the build process and organize/maintain a system for filing and updating these records efficiently.Assist with parts rebuild when necessary.Learn techniques for assembling new technologies and prototypes from engineering.Work closely with engineering to document necessary equipment changes and ideas to improve overall functionality and/or quality of operations between engineering and manufacturing.Work closely with engineering to advance assembly and testing of new technologies and prototypes.Maintain personal tools and shop floor hardware inventory.Maintain an organized, clean shop floor workspace and collaborate with the Manager of Manufacturing to identify areas for improvement in workflow and final assembly procedures to reduce build time and/or costs.Work closely with the Quality Control Specialist to address device repairs.Assist the manufacturing and logistics team in preparing devices for shipment.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GED required.1–2 years of relevant experience required.Associate’s degree in engineering technology preferred.Education: High SchoolCompany DescriptionCompunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
