Job Summary:The Mailroom / Document Processing Associate supports document intake, mail handling, scanning preparation, and print production activities in a fast-paced production facility. The role focuses on separating and opening mail, preparing documents for scanning, operating print/scan equipment, and assembling finished work while ensuring accuracy, productivity, and customer satisfaction. This position requires physical activity including lifting, standing, bending, and repetitive work while maintaining quality and output standards.Key Responsibilities:Separate, open, and sort incoming mail and documentsPrepare documents for scanning, copying, and digital processingOperate scanning equipment (including Kodak scanners), printers, and related production machinesInspect, compile, assemble, bind, and finalize document packagesMaintain production quality standards and ensure error-free outputMeet facility productivity metrics including Time Productive standards and impressions-per-hour targetsClear paper jams, refill toner, and perform basic machine maintenanceMonitor equipment performance and report machine codes/issues when failures occurComplete paperwork accurately and on timeMaintain organized workstation to prevent assembly errorsCommunicate production or quality issues promptly to managementSupport additional production or administrative duties as assignedRequired Skills:High School Diploma or equivalentBasic PC and typing skillsAbility to work in a team environment with positive collaborationFlexibility to adapt to changing production needs and schedulesAbility to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and output standardsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day)Ability to bend, twist, carry supplies, and perform physical production workAbility to work in moderate to high noise production environmentsStrong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under time pressureKnowledge of printing and scanning equipment preferredPrior experience in similar industry or document processing environment is a plusPreferred Skills:Experience with production scanning workflows or document imagingFamiliarity with print/mail production environmentsBasic troubleshooting knowledge of production equipmentExperience meeting productivity or throughput metrics in a production settingEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredEducation: High SchoolCompany DescriptionCompunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
