JOB SUMMARY:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating equipment and processing products to meet quality and production standards. This role involves maintaining safety practices, monitoring equipment, and supporting team operations in a manufacturing environment that may include physically demanding tasks and varying working conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machines and process products to meet quality requirements
- Follow all safety rules and ensure personal and team safety
- Review and follow written instructions, work procedures, and safety guidelines
- Support team members to maintain operational procedures according to company standards
- Monitor and inspect equipment, materials, and products
- Identify and resolve issues related to processes or equipment
- Train and qualify on Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
- Communicate effectively with team members to solve problems
- Review, interpret, and enter data using paper and computer systems
- Use and maintain machines, tools, and equipment
- Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, bending, and standing for extended periods
Required Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Completion of OSHA Respirator Exam and medical clearance as per requirements
- Completion of Mobile Equipment Operator Exam and medical clearance as per requirements
- Ability to work any shift, including overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
- Ability to perform physical labor in non-climate controlled environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing, machine operator, or relevant military experience
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
