Hiring: IT Project Manager (Financial Services)

The Role
We are seeking an IT Project Manager within our PMO function, with a strong desire to create order and process for our growing Technology group. This role will provide creative problem solving to a backlog of pain points that will ensure our Technology processes run smoothly. This role includes overseeing a Hiring and Headcount process in order to create visibility to the lifecycle of Technology’s hiring practices. In addition, this role includes managing a PMO backlog, coordination, and communications regarding new processes and procedures for our Technology leadership and development teams.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor degree required (preferably in business administration, finance, computer information systems or related fields)
- 6-9 years of business experience required; Financial Services experience desired
- A proven track record in problem solving and critical thinking where you provided analysis, a plan, and measured progress against the goals.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Build trust and key working relationships within a matrixed organization.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a range of tasks, prioritize work independently, and meet deadlines
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira is preferred.
