As IT Manager, you will oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure ranging from cloud-based and on-premise servers, network hardware and storage systems, mobile and desktop devices, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP system, Help Desk services, and cybersecurity initiatives. This position works closely with all departments to meet business technology objectives to ensure a secure and overall efficient operation.
Essential responsibilities include:
- Manage IT team members by providing technical guidance, professional development and a collaborative team environment.
- Plan, execute and manage all network and system resources.
- Oversee the deployment of new solutions, modifications, and system enhancements for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP system.
- Manage cybersecurity controls and ensure the secure handling of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in compliance with NIST 800-171 and CMMC Level 2 requirements.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures and best practices to ensure system security and compliance.
- Oversee and maintain successful EDI communication between the corporate network, BC and VAN.
- Effectively manage all IT projects ensuring adherence to defined budgets, schedules and scopes.
- Manage procurement and vendor negotiations for all hardware, software and related maintenance contracts.
- Continually research emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement to existing technology solutions.
Requirements:
- Full-time, M-F 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. On-site attendance required.
- Bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology field. Microsoft and other relevant certifications are a plus.
- 5 years of IT experience with a solid technical background.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure management and network security procedures and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
