JOB SUMMARYThe Electronics Technician I will apply electrical and electronic theory and related knowledge, usually under the direction of engineering staff, to design, build, repair, calibrate, and modify electrical components, circuitry, controls, and machinery for evaluation and use by engineering staff in making engineering design decisions. This role requires hands-on experience with electronics testing, PCB rework, and RF testing, supporting client as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform standard electronics testing using common test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVMs, spectrum analyzers, and thermocouples.Conduct electrical and RF testing, follow test plans, provide test reports, and support engineering teams.Perform printed circuit board (PCB) rework and soldering, including handling 0201 chip components.Assemble and disassemble client's products as required.Assist in design, build, repair, calibration, and modification of electrical components and systems.Maintain accurate documentation and provide detailed test reports.Collaborate with engineering staff to support design and evaluation processes.Required Qualifications0–3 years of experience as an electronics technician or in radio manufacturing/communications technology.Proficiency in using electronics test equipment (oscilloscopes, DVMs, spectrum analyzers).Skilled in PCB rework and soldering of small components (including 0201 chips).Experience with electrical/RF testing and reporting.Good MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, Explorer).Ability to work accurately and adapt to technology.Team-oriented and fast learner.Preferred QualificationsAssociate’s degree or technical school certification in electronics or related field.Experience with mobile radio technology or similar.Familiarity with control panel construction and mobile radio assembly.Education: High SchoolCompany DescriptionCompunnel Inc., established in 1994; is a leading provider of Staffing, IT/Software, e-Learning/Training, Business Intelligence, and Cloud Solutions.
