Quality Control Inspector

Seeking a detail-oriented professional to inspect, test, and evaluate products while implementing corrective actions as needed

Location: Worcester, MA

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm

Pay: $22-23/hour

Position Description

• Analyze and interpret blueprints, specifications, manuals, and other materials to determine inspection, testing, measurement, adjustment, and certification requirements.
• Inspect, test, measure, and sample incoming materials, in-process work, and finished products using appropriate instruments to verify conformance to specifications and purchase orders.
• Monitor production operations and equipment, read dials and meters, and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments to ensure specified performance levels.
• Record, evaluate, and report inspection and test data and results, including quantities, measurements, and environmental conditions.
• Communicate inspection results, discrepancies, and production problems to supervisors and responsible personnel, and recommend or assist in corrective actions.
• Clean, maintain, repair, and calibrate measuring instruments and test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  
  

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years manufacturing experience.
• 2 years as a Quality Inspector.
• Skilled with specialized inspection equipment (CMM, comparator, etc.).
• Proficient with inspection tools (microscope, magnifier).
• Ability to perform First Article Inspections accurately.
• Meticulous record-keeping with high attention to detail.
• Knowledge of ISO compliance and certification processes.
• Maintains a safe work environment per OSHA regulations.
• Works well on a team & independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, organization, and writing skills.
